I had the wonderful opportunity to work with deadmau5 on his new DJ software called AutoPilot as a UX/UI consultant and alpha tester. I tested for bugs and recommended improvements for the alpha phase of his software, as well as designed a 1:1 transfer from his product to Figma to help visualize his UX/UI ideas. This was an incredibly surreal moment to work with deadmau5 and his team. Autopilot is an industry game-changer. I’m so honored I was able to be a part of it.
The video, with DJ Loxso – a friend and professional DJ in Chicago, is a small demonstration of some of the process and user-testing to find these bugs and/or improvements. Even in the alpha phase, the program was incredibly user-friendly and extremely well-made. It was so fun to try out a new product from an industry legend!
